Word For Faith – August 27, 2019
“And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.” But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.””
To ‘put one’s hand to the plow’ means to undertake a task.
Some people start on their Christian journey of faith very good, but sadly crash out later.
Entering the Kingdom of God and remaining there, like other things in life, is hardwork!
But with the Holy Spirit, it becomes easier.
May we, like Jesus Christ, keep doing our Heavenly Father’s business – His Kingdom and not be distracted, in Jesus name!
It shall come to pass!
