The Banner of Praise Fellowship is a service where we lift up the name of Jesus Christ in high praise and worship music. It also includes the ministry of the Word of God and prayer. This is geared at creating an atmosphere for God’s presence to move amongst His people as we come together in one accord and lift Him up in praise and worship music. It’s also a means of building bridges to non-church going members of our community and provides an environment where they can enjoy Holy Spirit-led gospel music and be touched by Him.
“Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.”

There is so much opposition against the growth of the Church of Jesus Christ and the Gospel message in our community because of the fierce spiritual battle we’re engaged in, but we have the victory because the battle is the LORD’s. Just as the Holy Spirit, through one of His vessels encouraged King Jehoshaphat and he appointed singers who would sing to the LORD and praise the beauty of His holiness; God gave them victory over their enemies. 2 Chronicles 20:1-30. As we praise and worship God in faith, we’ll see the atmosphere in our communities turn around and God’s kingdom established.
