Our own human understanding that comes from knowledge or experiences acquired, can mislead us and has misled so many.

Repenting of one’s sin, obtaining God’s forgiveness and receiving Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, mean that one is willingly asking God to be his/her guide in life.

God’s ways of doing things are by far higher than our ways and His thoughts are by far more superior than ours.

One is ignorant of God’s ways and thoughts because of sin. But when one repents of sins, obtains God’s forgiveness and receives Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, s/he will start learning His ways and understanding His thoughts.

Honoring Jesus Christ means giving Him the highest praise, respect, adoration, etc. In so doing, we are honoring God Almighty, His Father.

Not honoring Jesus Christ whom God sent means one does not honor God.

A person living in sin is spiritually dead towards God.
