When a sinner is convicted by the Holy Spirit, repents of his/her sinful lifestyles, asks God for forgiveness, and receives Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, s/he becomes a new creation!

His/her old sinful self/nature has been crucified with Jesus Christ on the cross and a new person has resurrected with Him!

So, as we keep spreading this Good News about Jesus Christ and His Kingdom, many sinners will have their old self crucified, while their new nature begins living daily by faith in Jesus Christ, in Jesus’ name!

Jesus Christ knew too well the sufferings, extreme pains, etc., He would go through at His crucifixion on the cross and eventual death.

Yet, He was willing to go through it because He knew that innumerable billions of humanity will become God’s children through His sacrificial death.

Formerly, the Jews took pride in their ceremonial laws and rituals as the only way to be right with God, thereby excluding all other nations.

But on the cross, Jesus broke that wall of separation and all of humanity now have easy access to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, through faith in Jesus Christ!

That the legs of Jesus Christ remained intact while those of the two criminals crucified alongside Him were broken was not a coincidence.

This is because everything Jesus Christ did or was done to Him, were to fulfill what was written concerning Him in the Scriptures as God’s Son – Saviour of the world!

In crucifixion, the victims would hang on the cross for hours or days before dying.

In the case of Jesus Christ, He died very quickly because of the weight of the sins of humanity He bore on the cross!

So, Jesus Christ was crushed to death by our sins.

Jesus Christ suffered such humiliations as being spat on, blindfolded, beaten with punches, ridiculed, slapped severally, etc.
