Idolatry is the worship of an idol or cult image, being a physical image, such as a statue, a heavenly being or a person in place of, or along with God.

Some ‘Christian’ denominations make statues of ‘Jesus’, ‘Mary’, angels, etc, and bow before them in worship.

This is no different from those religions that make similar statues of animals or hybrid creatures and worship them as their god.

These are all forms of idolatry and is a sin!

We are to worship God, only through His Son – Jesus Christ and no other medium or intermediary.
