The wars/battles the Israelites fought in the Old Testament were a contest between the LORD GOD of Israel and the gods of those nations.

The LORD GOD showcased His supremacy over those gods by giving Israel victories.

When a person turns away from a life of sin, receives Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, and follows Him daily, the LORD GOD will fight for him/her and give them victories over the gods of the lands in which we dwell, in the name of Jesus Christ!

It shall come to pass!
